Product engineering and infrastructure.

We build the whole product and we keep it running. That means designing the architecture, writing the service, building the interface people use, and setting up the servers, pipelines and monitoring behind it. Owning the entire stack gives us the freedom to release often, respond quickly, and continuously improve the product.

Independent products. Built end to end.

We build and ship our own software from Tokyo. Two products are in development right now. Untamed Ehizia is an experimental MMORPG that runs on a single shared world, and Duolve is a dating app built around live-voice experience rooms.

We design and engineer both of them ourselves. That covers the persistent world state, the multiplayer networking, the real-time voice, the progression and economy systems, and the localised web front ends. We also run the infrastructure and the release pipelines that get each build out.

Untamed Ehizia

Untamed Ehizia is an indie experimental MMORPG where social interaction is elevated to a new level. It is a friendly, cozy world, and every part of the game is played alongside someone else.

The whole game runs on one shared world, with no instancing. Quests are not personalised, every NPC holds the same state for everyone, and if you open a door it stays open for the next player who walks through. We built the game around cooperation instead of conflict, and we kept the kind of friction that gets people talking to each other.

  • Shared, non-instanced world. What you do changes the world for everyone else playing in it.
  • PvE-first. Cooperation drives the game. PvP is available only in a few tightly defined situations.
  • No auto-party, no auctions. You find teammates on advertising boards and in bars and markets, and you agree every trade directly with the other player.
  • Secret spells and abilities. Some skills are rare enough that tracking down the player who has one becomes a quest of its own.
  • Split progression. Unlocking skills widens what you can do, and raising stats improves what you already have. The two advance separately.
  • Unbalanced by design. Every class plays differently and fills a different social role.

Duolve

Duolve is a new way to date. You discover compatibility through shared experiences, and you feel the connection before you ever meet.

Instead of endless swiping, Duolve gives two people something to do together. You solve a puzzle, work through a dilemma or write a story, and you talk over live voice the whole time. A profile only shows what someone chose to put in it. An hour spent working on something together shows you far more.

  • Nine experience rooms. They span five categories: problem solving, deep conversation, creative, decisions and values, and connection.
  • Live voice throughout. You start talking the moment the room opens, so nobody spends a week texting first.
  • No swiping and no scores. Browse profiles or take a random match, then pick a room and start.
  • The conversation has somewhere to go. Because you are busy doing something, you never have to invent an opening line.
  • A better first date. By the time you meet in person you have already had a real conversation.
  • Safety by default. Conversations stay private, and you can block, report or unmatch at any time.

The idea behind both

Both products come from the same idea. Software gets interesting when there are other people in it. Untamed Ehizia will not hide other players behind instancing, and Duolve gives you a better way to judge someone than a photograph.

We keep both projects small and deliberate. There is no outside roadmap and no committee to answer to, so we can cut anything that adds complexity without adding value.
